Those old Yamaha's are indeed awesome shredders! They have fantastic necks, very comfortable and also great high-output bridge pickups.
Make sure you check the bridges on them, though - some had a TRS 101 style bridge the was easily replaceable. Others had a god-awful non-locking bridge (the ball ends go in a little basket) that LOOKS like a Floyd, but won't stay in tune for 2 minutes!
I'd love to have another one of these with the good bridge, I sold my RGZ211m.
