I'm still clueless on the dog spine thing...
Anyway, here's two of my knobs, with an original in the center.
My camera picks up very slight details close up, and makes the differences quite noticeable.
Only an F Knob "expert" will spot these.

I already put a couple of them on eBay, but I still have lots left.
If anyone wants one or two, let me know.
Or you can just bid. 
Auction states USA only, but I would make an exception for forum members, plus a discount if possible.
