It could be a bridge post issue, RF. The knife edge on this design is on the bridge post itself and they wear out with time. You can turn them a 1/4 turn and see if that helps, and if not you can get new bridge posts from Kahler for like $20.

Mine is (I believe) the identical model of bradley's above. I got it as a gift from my gf (now my wife), but I don't remember the year, but it was purchased new, and I think it was 1988-89.
Its still in *really* good shape.
Anyway, its black, maple neck, kahler bridge, H/S/S, serial #E952622
Edited to add: I'll take a couple pics and post them.

owner: Jim year: stamped inside neck (march 22 1990-91?) cant read last number serial#: C037484 (never seen one that starts with letter c before but thats what it is) neck serial: (red ink stamped PA) (black ink stamped 556HMRJ6 the last number (6) was penciled in for some reason) color: bluestone pickups: (HS) (dimarzio humbucker dp152 F spaced super 3) (fender lace sensor single coil) maple neck: rosewood fretboard bridge: kahler It also has black telecaster style pickguard. As far as I know everything on guitar is original. I do have trem arm and locking clamps. Just not on guitar in pics. Also original fender usa case and fender contemporary and HM manual Paid $125 on craigslist. I couldn't believe that the guy came down from $200.   |
