It's been rainy here, so no pics yet. Is teal the blue-green color? If so, mine is teal, r/w board, Serial# E920603. It's all stock, except the neck pickup has been swapped out for a DiMarzio Fast Track 1.

Ok, got the info. s/n is E849091 Color is pink with maple fretboard. HSS pickup config. Kahler Spyder
The guitar came as a basket case for wiring. 2 Aria dual rail singles (humbucking) that the guy told me were designed by Bill Lawrence, and a PJ Maxx at over 13K (not sure what model). The PJ Marx was direct mounted. It's impossible to tell what it sounded like because the pickups were all tied together at the hip (for splitting).
It sat in the closet for about 2 years. I started picking up the pieces to put it back to stock. I got a Super 3, but it was drilled for direct mount.
I picked up a Warpig for free when I bought an ESP Horizon, so I figured I'd mount it in the HM Strat for some quick fun (since the warpig is sort of similar in spec to the Super 3).
I've been totally digging the sound of this guitar ever since. Now I'm wondering - is it the guitar or the pickup? I wish I had a stock HM Strat to compare against.
Also, I'm surprised that I'm the first to post with this config. I though pink with maple was the most commonly made model.

Thanks, Don!
I was thinking the same thing while reading your post. Pink, that's unusual?!! But then I was remembering they must have made a bazillion pink HM Strats.
I have two HM's at the moment and I do LOVE the Super 3 in my Parrot HM. It's my favorite recording pickup. Just FAT, a midrange that really pushes the distortion and crisp bottom end. The other had an EMG which I removed. I have a Custom Custom in there now which sounds good, but I haven't compared two yet. One of the two I'm restoring will have a Super 3 in it, and then I can A/B it with my first HM.
Glad as heck your rediscovering it and enjoying it so much! Thanks a bunch for the info and we'd love to see pics!
Reminded me - I recorded a clip on my HM with the Super 3, I'll post it in a separate thread and you can hear what mine sounds like.
